AAA South Jersey Offers Free Road-Side Assistance to First Responders and Health Care Workers

To best support our local community and provide assistance to those who are on the front line helping combat COVID-19, AAA South Jersey is providing free roadside assistance to first responders and healthcare workers whether you are a AAA member or not, throughout Camden, Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland counties.

Starting on March 17th, 2020, AAA South Jersey began offering free roadside assistance to first responders and healthcare workers throughout Camden, Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland counties. For a first responder or healthcare worker to receive help, please call 800-298-6963 and mention that you are a healthcare worker or first responder and are in need of roadside assistance. AAA South Jersey will then dispatch a truck to assist the person in need.

AAA South Jersey takes the health and safety of our Members and Associates seriously and are taking preventative measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19. AAA South Jersey tow truck drivers have taken the following steps to insure compliance with state and federal guidelines to protect our associates and members when using Emergency Roadside Assistance:

  • Washing hands or using hand sanitizer before servicing vehicle

  • Wearing latex gloves

  • Maintain social distancing of 6-feet

  • Wiping down any surfaces with sanitizing wipes that need to be accessed before use

  • And various other precautions


Our roadside assistance continues to operate and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
