Itinerary:
Arrive in Switzerland
Arrival at Zurich Airport and bus trip to Locarno, Hotel La Palma Au Lac.
Get To Know Locarno
Visit of Madonna del Sasso – the overlooking Monestary of Locarno by funicular - on to 4’400 ft Cardada Mountain by Telecabine (with a spectacular view on the landscape promontory). Citta vecchia of Locarno (old town); later in the afternoon by boat to famous Ascona. After some time for a coffee back to Locarno by boat.
Visit The Valley
Travel by Postbus to the Valley of Verzasca (wildromantic valley with its river of emerald color, cosy little village at the end with several restaurants and shops) coffee stop on the way up. On the way back stop at Lake Barrier of Lake Verzasca, where the movie «Boulder» was taken.– back to Locarno.
Take In Ticino
Last day in Ticino with shopping in Ascona or Locarno and Winetasting at Vini Matasci, Tenero in the afternoon.
Isles Borromaic
Bus Trip along Lake Maggiore to Stresa; by boat to Borromaic Island Isola Bella with visit to Palace and botanical gardens; lunch is included; back by boat to Stresa and on by bus via Simplon Pass to Lake Geneva (Montreux, Hotel Eden Palace au Lac (with Welcome drink before dinner)
Museums & Montreux
By bus to recently opened Chaplin’s World Museum at Corsier s Vevey. Bus tour through UNESCO wine Region Lavaux then visit to old town Vevey with boat back to Montreux; option of Museum Freddie Mercury «Queen» near our hotel or go on by boat to next stop to visit the Water Castle Chillon near Montreux, back by bus to Hotel Eden Palace Au Lac.
Cailler Bloch in Broc
Travel by bus to original Swiss Chocolate Factory Cailler in Broc; after to medieval town with option to Castle of Greyerz or Museum of H.R Giger back to Montreux by bus (Hotel Palace Eden Au Lac).
Say Goodbye Switzerland
Depart by bus to Zurich Airport.
