Why and when should I go to Yellowstone?
It is one of the top US parks to visit, featuring dramatic peaks and pristine lakes, as well as hot springs, forests, meadows, and geysers. All of which is contained in 3,000+ square miles of unspoiled beauty, making it an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise.
Late Spring (April and May) and Fall (September through November) are generally the best times to go, both offering mild weather and fewer crowds. Summer months are the most popular and crowded time of the year, but is still a great time for families with children to enjoy the park.
What about Yosemite National Park and where is best to stay?
Yosemite is best known for its giant and ancient sequoia trees that tower above you as you explore the park with even larger cliffs in the distance. Much like Yellowstone, it too is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise, featuring such activities like horseback riding, rafting, and biking!
The best place to stay is at the hotels at the rim of the park—which makes your stay more about seeing the sights and less about driving to the destination.
