From our CEO

We will get through this together
AAA

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families during these extraordinary times. I write this message with a heavy heart as each day we receive news of the impact this virus is having on our world. But if history has taught us anything, it is that we are resilient and we will get through this together. As essential workers head to hospitals and grocery stores, to pharmacies and food banks, we at AAA remain committed to ensuring that you continue to receive the services at the levels you have come to expect from us. Even in this time of uncertainty, our mission remains the same- to continue to Totally Satisfy our members through best-in-class service.

AAA Roadside Assistance remains ready when you are in need. Our vehicles are cleaned thoroughly multiple times throughout the day. Our fleet drivers, whom we consider our very own heroes, are taking the proper precautions with safety being paramount. We are also providing roadside assistance to first responders and medical workers, regardless of whether they are members. Afterall, it is the right thing to do.

The AAA travel team is closely monitoring the rapidly changing travel environment and assisting members in making informed decisions. Unlike many internet sites, AAA Travel Agents act as an advocate on your behalf and continue to lookout for your best interests. With AAA it is more than just a sale. It is about building long standing relationships with our members and doing right by them.

And for our insurance customers, we are providing flexible payment options and giving every AAA policyholder with auto insurance a 20% policy refund applied to two months of premium.

In our local footprint, beyond providing emergency road service for first responders, AAA South Jersey continues to support the communities in which we live and work. We partnered with Shoprite early on to help those in need and most at risk. We made a donation to Rowan University to assist students in purchasing the necessary supplies to adapt to a new way of learning. We also delivered lunch as a way of recognizing the medical professionals that are on the front lines.

We’ve also been working diligently to keep our most important asset, our associates, as safe as possible. This includes advising those who can work from home to do so. As an essential service provider, we realize that we must also continue to be there for our members. So, we have established a support structure for our employees in roles that do not have an option to work from home to ensure they can follow public health guidance or stay at home for their families should the need arise. Through flexible work schedules and the necessary steps to keep our employees whole, we are committed to do the right thing

I am inspired by the way our local communities and our nation for that matter have risen to the challenge to battle this invisible enemy. As part of that community, AAA South Jersey is committed to supporting you through these unprecedented times.

Challenging times bring out the best in people and we are confident that we’ll continue to move forward—together.

Stay safe,
David Antrilli
