People join AAA and remain members for several reasons. The top reason people join and stay with us is our legendary roadside assistance. The second reason is to get our assistance with trip planning. Even in this era of the internet and GPS service available on the internet, on phones and in many vehicles, people trust us to help get them where they want to go.

The third reason? The discounts available to AAA members. Most members are aware of discounts available at hotels, or renting a car from Hertz, but there are numerous other retailers and online locations that offer discounts to AAA members, simply because of that membership. Simply show your card, and you receive a discount. In fact, the average AAA member saves over $90 a year with the discounts available – those savings are about the cost of your AAA membership!

Now, thanks to Sprint, one of our long-time Discounts & Rewards partners, you will literally save the cost of your membership. AAA members can receive significant benefits from Sprint, including payment of AAA Basic membership renewal fees, as well discounts on Sprint’s unlimited calling plans.

Under the new agreement, Sprint will renew the AAA Basic membership for primary and associate members if they remain eligible Sprint customers. There are other benefits, as well.

• Sprint will offer the Unlimited Freedom rate plan to AAA members for just $35 per line a month for four lines – a $5 monthly discount per line.
   
• AAA members receive a 10 percent discount on all other applicable Sprint rate plans.
   
• Sprint customers who are also AAA members will receive a 25 percent discount on eligible accessories.
   
• Sprint customers who are also AAA members will receive free access to the Sprint Family Locator app, providing the ability to locate a family member’s registered phone. With the app, users can see a loved one’s last available location on a map and receive notifications as soon as they get home.
   
• Sprint will also provide customers easy access on new Android devices to the AAA Mobile app featuring lowest gas prices, member discounts, access to roadside assistance, and AAA’s exclusive travel information, including diamond ratings for hotels and restaurants.
