AAA South Jersey awards $2,500 scholarship to Rowan student

Xuan Do, a junior majoring in Computing and Infomatics at Rowan University, has been selected as the recipient of a $2,500 scholarship to Rowan University from AAA South Jersey.

The 23-year-old native of Vietnam moved to the United States with her family just five years ago. She hopes to become either a web developer or an IT project manager upon her graduation in 2019. In addition to her major, she is also minoring in Computer Science and Management Information Systems.

AAA South Jersey presents a $2,500 scholarship annually to a South Jersey resident studying at Rowan, who meets the following criteria:

  • Must be from Camden, Gloucester, Salem or Cumberland County
  • Is entering their junior year of college
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Spirit of community involvement

We’re glad to be able to help her pursue her education, and I believe she will be incredibly successful in her future..”
